Al-Jawad Pike, in collaboration with DierendonckBlancke, has won an international competition through the Vlaams Bouwmeester Open Oproep process (4503) to develop a phased care home masterplan for Emiliani in Lokeren, Belgium. The project will create a long-term framework for the renewal of Emiliani’s care campus, combining small-scale collective living, generous shared spaces and a close relationship to landscape.
